Sales Representatives

Responsibilities

A LaCosta Sales Representative must be able to land new accounts, as well as work with existing accounts. Must be able to plan, organize, direct and control sales activities within their geographic area. Geographic areas may consist of a specific local territory and possible out-of-state responsibilities. The final result required is a high-morale people-oriented person who does is a self starter and can meet profit objectives through aggressive sales.

Major duties involve cold calling to develop new markets, developing strategic sales plan to meet corporate sales goals, sales forecasting, traveling throughout territory to call on prospective client to solicit new business, and managing the successful display and presentation at all trade shows. Other duties include: offensive and defensive marketing, preparing bids using LaCosta procedures, customer relations, preparing necessary reports, working with operations on all start ups, and complying and continually building lists of pre-qualifed customers using the ACT database.

Qualifications

• Strong experience (minimum 3 years) in Sales that is related to contract cleaning or service-oriented company.

• Must have excellent people oriented skills.

• Experienced telecommunication skills with ability to successfully execute cold calling procedures.

• Strong experience with ACT Software a plus.

• A valid driver's license and a good driving record.

District Manager

Responsibilities

The District Manager is responsible for all LaCosta operations (plan, organize, direct, and control operational, and administrative activities) within his or her geographic area. May be responsible for several geographical locations with sales under $1 million per year in annual revenue, or a single location with sales more than $1 million per year in annual revenue. The final result required is a high-morale people-oriented organization operating by the policies that meet or exceed customer expectations while achieving specific quality and profit objectives.
Major duties include, but are not limited to office administration, building services account management, budgeting, offensive and defensive marketing, enforcing safety and personnel policies, logistics, customer relations, training and evaluation of current and new employees. Major goals are to effectively manage account, develop key personnel, and deliver the product or service to meet customer needs, expectations and standards. Must be able to provide direction and support to management personnel, and provide direction to Tag and Special sales in order to achieve sales goals and profitability. Must strive to achieve zero lost time on accidents and be in compliance with all OSHA and MSHA requirements by means of extensive safety training.

Qualifications

• Strong experience (minimum 5 years) in Account Management, or a comparable position in a contract cleaning or service-oriented company.

• Registered Building Service Manager (RBSM) preferred.

• Excellent visual acuity to see dust and dirt on floors, windows, and other surfaces.

• Strong hearing and speaking skills in English and in some cases, Spanish.

• The ability to conduct staff meetings and training classes.

• Must be able to lift 40 pounds and perform cleaning duties involving lifting, standing, bending and twisting.

• A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
